League Rules

  1. Decks are randomly picked with a D20 roll and flipping over shuffled commanders
    1. Commanders will be shuffled and distributed by flipping the top deck
    2. Commanders will be shuffled between each roll
    3. If your roll is higher than the number of commanders left; they will be reshuffled and flip the difference
      1. Ex: Roll a 19 and only 17 commanders left. Reshuffle the commanders and flip 2.
    4. If you roll a nat20, you get to pick any decks that are available, PLUS the restricted decks
  2. Players must play their own decks if flipped over
    1. If a player rolls a commander they played that session already, they must reroll. Commanders will be shuffled and flipped again until unplayed commander is flipped
  3. First roll for decks will be done based on inverse quarter standings (4,3,2,1) except for Grand Prix, that will be done based on year standings
    1. After the first game, the rolls will be done by placement in the previous game. It will be inverse of the winning order (4,3,2,1)
  4. No collusion outside of game and in-game ‘Kingmaking’
    1. If a player colludes with another outside the game, they will be deducted 5pts first time. Second time they will be kicked from the quarter with no refund
    2. If a player purposefully creates a ‘king’ at the table when they know they are going to die, they will be deducted a point on first offense. Second offense is a session ban. Third is suspension for a quarter.
      1. Making plays that are spiteful, defensive, or attempts to live are perfectly fine. As are in-game negotiations for politics

    1. If this is a tie, then the tie will roll off to see who is placed where for the night. High roll takes the higher slot.
